Take Exit 2 off I-395.Exit 2 On I-395

At the first light (Thompson/Worcester Roads) go straight onto Route 12/East Main Street in Webster.

Follow Route 12 slowly past all the stores and restaurants and when at the golden arches, look straight ahead down Main Street and you’ll see one of the granite towers of the Stevens Mill.

Follow Rte. 12 left at the light into downtown Webster (20mph) past Edward’s Emporium (right), Matte’s Hardware (left), cross the RR tracks through the Chase Ave./Pleasant St. light and over the bridge into Dudley.

Take the first right at the Getty Station (on your right) onto Ardlock Place after crossing the railroad tracks and the French River.

From Boston, MA you’d take I-90 (Mass Pike) to Exit 10, to I-395 south.
From Worcester, MA, you can take I-290 which becomes I-395 to Exit 2, or just follow Rte. 12 (Southbridge Street in Worcester) south.

From Hartford and points south:
Take Interstate 84 north to Exit 73 (Rte. 190) to Union, then follow Rte. 197 through Woodstock, CT northeast up to Dudley, MA.
Look for the Irving station on the right and take a sharp left just before the Getty station.

From Providence, RI:
Take Route 102 to Interstate 395 to Exit 2 and head west to Dudley on Route 12.

By Public Transit from Worcester:

You can get to and from Dudley and Worcester Union Station and the MBTA commuter rail (timetable) and Amtrak services. There is a WRTA (Worcester Regional Transportation Authority) bus to downtown Worcester from Union Station.

1) Take the Worcester Regional Transit Authority route #42 (PDF file) bus from downtown Worcester to downtown Webster at the railroad tracks.
The weekend commuter rail schedule isn’t so great, but it can be done.

2) Walk across the tracks, and cross the French River on South Main Street (Matte’s Hardware on your left) to the Getty Station at Ardlock Place and look for the two mill towers.
